By the time Blu returned to the house, I was somewhat calm and I was well on my way to feeling like a normal person again. And the breakfast Tau had prepared earlier that morning was definitely helping, even though I can’t say that I’m hungry. But it is doing something since I keep eating.
I stare at the car as it comes to a stop in front of the kitchen window. A breath I hadn’t known I held whooshes out of me as Blu gets out of the car alone.
I guess on some level I had hoped that Luna would come back.
I shake my head at that thought. It was just a dream…Tau was right.
No woman alive would want what we have to offer. Maybe we should rethink our dream.
I shake my head again, because my mind has been taking me down that path since Tau and I returned from the beach.
