I stare at my mom as shock radiates throughout my body.
“What did she say?” I ask her holding my breath. Blu’s words chose that very moment to haunt me, making me sweat.
“What would your parents say?”
A cold sweat rolls down my spine, causing my whole body to shiver. I fidget with my phone in my hands as the shiver works its way down to my toes. I don’t know what Carol said to my mom. But my head and heart start to pound at the thought of what she might have said. I wouldn’t put it past her to say that something that would hurt me to my mom.
I close my eyes praying to God that she didn’t say anything bad…
But I know her she’s just…
