Zoey I hated mornings, especially early mornings where I had to be up and act like a nice person. My mom had always understood that. That was probably why she woke me up the way she did and then lay in bed with me for a while talking and dreaming. By the time we got up after our talks, I was awake enough to be halfway nice to those around me. Not saying that waking up in Troy’s arms wasn’t nice as well, and I quite enjoyed waking up wrapped around him. I felt slightly bad that I hadn’t done more with him, but every time we got even close, my mind would flash back to the beginning of the summer. I know it wasn’t fair to him, and I never told him, but once the thought was there, I had a hard time getting it out of my head. He never outright said it bothered him that we didn’t go farther, bu
