I knew Zoey was angry yesterday, and I knew she wasn’t truly angry with me. I am not going to lie. The fact she started shifting and I hadn’t done what I told her I would do angered me. I should have made sure before her first shift she would know what she needed to know. Thankfully Troy was close by and was able to calm her enough she was able to finish her shift. Young wolves that fight their first shift have been known to harm themselves or others around them. Not because they mean to but because they don’t have enough control. To my relief, though, Troy’s calming effect from being her mate did the trick, and she was able to shift without incident.
