Third person's pov
While the five in Africa are settling in, Isabella and Charlie are getting used to their life in Italy. Grandpa Charlie and Grandma Valerie decided and agreed to stay with them for a while. Shaun and Maddy date on and off but are not a couple. Shaun's work in America keeps him busy, and he can not come to Italy as often as he would like. He likes Maddy and wants to ask her to become his wife one day, but he knows he will have to try to win her heart. Maddy does not like to show her feelings, as she is afraid that she will end up like she did with Mario. She is afraid to get hurt again. Her heart tells her she is in love with Shaun, but his mind tells her not to rush into anything. There have been seeing each other for the last three years whenever Shaun can visit Italy.
