"What are you driving at?" Sofia asked, growing impatient.
"You will have to offer something in return for this game we are about to play. I need a victory card too." Lily smiled at her and Sofia's frown deepened.
Sofia knew the woman was deceitful. She wasn't even ashamed to admit that she was helping Alice only so she could get money out of it. That was stupid!
"What do I have to offer?" Sofia snarled. She shouldn't be making a deal with someone like Lily, but she was running out of options fast. Ariana could never be allowed to have a happy ending she needed to suffer. She shouldn't be allowed to be happy. Never!
"I want a part of your inheritance, Sofia,"Lily said, with a straight face.
Sofia raised her brows so high it almost touched her hairline. Lily Lawson was truly shameless.
