Calhoun saw the indecisiveness in her eyes and he got up from the sofa. He moved to the door, "I'll be in the car waiting for you to make a decision. It's either me or Ethan. The decision is yours."
This was something Calhoun didn't imagine himself doing but he had to do that for Ariana. He wanted her to be happy. He didn't want it to feel like he had given her a choice.
He got into his car and moved in. He leaned on the steering wheel, continuously tapping his fingers around it as he waited for Ariana to make her decision. He kept checking the time on his wristwatch and, a sudden fear, he didn't think he had started moving into his body. What was going on?
