“What’s with her sudden sour mood?” Audrey eyed Mia, who shoved her books on the table with too much force before going to grab her lunch from the counter.
“I tried to tell her something which she misunderstood..” Alana shrugged. After Dynamics class, she apologized to Mia but she had been giving her cold shoulder. What broke her heart, even more, was the fact that she walked out of the class with Tanya, ignoring her completely.
“What did you tell her?”
Alana sighed, feeling completely miserable, “I cannot tell you, Audrey. Can we not talk about this?”
“Okay, babe. Let’s talk about something else. How was your visit to your parents’ home?” Just when Audrey was inquiring about it, Mia was back with her plate. She silently sat close to Audrey not wanting to take the seat near Alana.
