On the way back Jospeh asked "What about Kane". "Kane will have to wait another day. We have more important issues to deal with right now. He is on the run. He knows now that I am coming for him and his time has just gotten that much shorter left on this earth. Right now, I need to be at the pack house making sure that Chase and Cassie are ok. That is what matters the most right now" I answered him. Jonah and Joseph both nodded agreeing with me. Damien wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me close. "We also have the twins" He said reminding me that it was not just Cassie and Chase that I needed to get home too but them as well. They needed parents and they needed to feel the love that not only my parents but Chase and Cassie had shown me.
