As Damien was leaving, Nikki was at my door. The pups ran inside to see me. Damien took their leashes and
kissed the top of my head. “I’m going to go feed and water them, I’ll leave the two of you alone for now.
Nikki, they will be in their kennels whenever you are done and want to play with them. I’m going to the
training field to check on them there” Damien said as he left the office. Nikki looked scared to death as I
asked her to have a seat. I handed her a cold soda as I grabbed one for myself.
“Am I in trouble, Alpha Claire” she asked. I laughed. “No not at all sweetie. I just have a few questions for
you about something you said earlier” I explained. “Earlier you said that you could smell the differences
between the children that are currently here right?” I asked her.
