Chapter 2

1670 Words
Jessica entered the bedroom, still holding the divorce papers in her hands. She saw her husband stripping off his suit as he stood naked in the middle of the bedroom, preparing to take his bath. She gulped hard as her blue eyes came in contact with her husband's nàked body. He might look as if he were not aging at all, but he had matured and was no longer the same young man she had married five years ago. Jessica remembered how her father had rejected Dylan because her family harbored a personal hatred for poor people. She had begged her family on his behalf and acted annoyed with her parents just so they would approve of Dylan and accept him as her husband. She had supported his business to grow, and now that he had become successful—a billionaire, blessed with two beautiful children—Dylan was speaking to her about divorce and developing a double mindset about their five years of marriage. Jessica knew that marriage was not a "do-or-die affair." But she had tried to be the best wife she could be to Dylan by waking up very early in the morning to prepare his breakfast herself, as well as the children's. She had to prepare them very early each day to take them to school and then return to pick them up after closing hours. Jessica knew that she had paused her own life to help Dylan build his life and their family, by raising their two children at home and becoming a full-time housewife. Now Dylan was telling her about a divorce and that their five years of marriage were over. "Dylan," Jessica called to her husband to gain his attention. He turned around to face her, having taken off all his clothes. "What is it? Have you signed the divorce papers now?" Dylan asked as he stared at Jessica's face coldly. "No, Dylan. We cannot divorce. I cannot agree to divorce you, and you know that I love you very much," Jessica replied, wanting to believe that her husband had spoken to her about divorce out of his drunken state. She walked up to her husband to embrace him where he stood in the middle of their bedroom, trying to touch his hard, bronze, chiseled chest. But Dylan quickly caught her hand before she could feel his hardness. Dylan shoved Jessica's hand down beside her and told her: "You have no right to my body anymore, Jessica! And the sooner you sign that divorce papers and leave, the better for you to return to your father's house and find another man who will marry you." "Dylan!" Jessica looked puzzled and heartbroken by her husband's statement. Her blue eyes immediately turned red and welled up with hot tears. She questioned him: "So you are cheating on me now, Dylan, that you can confidently tell me to leave and go back to my parents' house to find another man who will marry me? Is that how much hatred you have for me now?" Dylan ignored his wife's questions, as he was nàked and could feel her eyes all over his bare body, including on his manhood. Dylan walked away into the bathroom to bathe while Jessica stood speechless in their bedroom, still holding the divorce papers in her hands. Jessica missed her husband and wanted him to make love to her. She had been hoping that when Dylan returned home, he would apologize to her for where he had been for the past two days outside. But instead, he was speaking to her about divorce, telling her that she had no access to his body anymore, and thereby depriving her of her conjugal rights. Jessica looked at the divorce papers in her hands again as their bedroom's white bulb was still on and the bedroom was painted in white. She walked up to their white bed's headboard and placed the divorce papers there safely on the headboard of their magnificent bed. She stripped off her clothes and decided to join Dylan in bathing together, believing that he was still joking and doing all this out of his alcohol intake. Jessica stripped herself nàked and walked into the bathroom to join her husband in bathing, intending to torture him with the same level of torture that he had just inflicted on her. She was a thick, fair-skinned woman with a pointed nose, sparkling blue eyes, and long golden hair on her head. Jessica knew that she had a very nice curvy shape even after birthing two beautiful children. She still looked cute and sexy in her curves, as many mature men out there still wooed her and asked her out on dates. But she was a faithful woman who loved Dylan very much and could never cheat on him. Jessica had never looked down on Dylan before, not even when he was poor and struggling to manage. She loved him very much, supported him, and made love to him however he wanted, as Dylan was a s*x enthusiast, and they were blessed with two beautiful children. Jessica remembered that she had met Dylan at a fuel station where he had worked before as a fuel attendant. He had sold fuel into her car on the first day they met. She quickly walked into the bathroom to join her husband in bathing before Dylan finished his bath or stepped out of the bathroom. ------- Dylan was standing under the shower tap, as he did not use the white bathtub for bathing. He saw Jessica walk into the bathroom to join him, and her sexy body made him hard immediately. Dylan quickly looked away from Jessica as he hastened with his bath and switched on the shower tap to rinse off his soapy body, even though he was not yet finished. Dylan rushed out of the bathroom, as he did not want to spend any more minutes there with Jessica, knowing that he would end up making love to her hard in the bathroom and would not be able to resist her. Jessica stood speechless in the bathroom and shook her head in sadness as she saw Dylan run out. She murmured: "What is wrong with him? Why is he behaving like that?" Jessica had seen how Dylan rushed out of the bathroom. She walked up to the white bathtub to have her bath there, as she mostly used the white bathtub for bathing instead. She entered the bathtub and started scrubbing her body. **** Dylan walked out to the master bedroom and knew that he wanted to divorce Jessica simply because his first love, Rosie Andrew, had returned to the country. Rosie had visited Dylan at his company and in his office, where she cried to him and said: "Why, Dylan? Why did you not wait for me to return home first before you went ahead and married another woman, after ten years of knowing me and proposing to marry me first?" Dylan knew that he had first made a promise to Rosie in the past that he would marry her when he initially deflowered her, as he was the first man to do so. He was not the first man who had deflowered Jessica, but she had still been a kind-hearted woman to him and the most genuine lady he had ever met. No matter what Dylan had done to make Jessica annoyed or to break up with him, Jessica never got angry; she mostly overlooked everything. Dylan had told Jessica before that she could not go to work anymore and ignore taking care of him and their two children at home, leaving all the work to their maid to cook his food and feed him. Did she also want the maid to warm his bed? Jessica had happily quit her job as a banker at a big bank where she had previously worked and became a full-time housewife just to please Dylan. Jessica's car had also become faulty in the third year of their marriage, after Nina's birth. As the car could not work properly without a proper mechanical engineer to repair it, Dylan had refused to repair it or replace it with a new one, even though he was a billionaire. Dylan had instead bought a new car for himself to irritate Jessica and see if she would get annoyed and leave his house by divorcing him. But Jessica had ignored him and continued managing her old car or using public transportation instead, since he refused to buy a new one for her. Jessica had refused to leave Dylan's home and had gone to repair her car herself. Dylan then reduced the amount of food money that he gave her weekly to take care of their home and their two children. He remembered telling Jessica: "You are too fat now, Jessica, and you should be eating only once a day so that you can reduce your weight. So this money will be enough for you and our two children as you manage it. Do you not watch your weight at all? Just two children, and you are already looking like my mother's age-mate." Jessica had smiled at Dylan and replied: "But I am still beautiful, Dylan, and you do not expect me to remain the same 22-year-old Jessica Albert that you met and married. I am 27 years old now, and it is expected that I have changed, as change is constant. Even you, my love, have changed; you look more mature and handsome now than when we initially got married. So you are changing too." Dylan had frowned, as he knew that Jessica knew how to smile through every difficult situation with him. She never got annoyed with him, nagged at him, looked down on him, or compared him to other top-notch billionaires in their state. She mostly encouraged him never to give up in life, and he grew frustrated at how to divorce the kind-hearted woman he had married as his wife.
