An engagement party? For us? Set up by Haru?
"He's planning something." Kenzo muttered right after Haru left.
That much is obvious.
"What should we do?" I asked.
Kenzo turned to face me.
"What do you want to do, baby? We won't go if you don't want to," he said.
If we don't go, what will Kenzo tell Haru? What if that's what Haru is expecting and plans to use it against us?
I don't trust Haru at all. I would bet everything I own, that he has something up his sleeve. That doesn't mean I'm not willing to fight back.
I've been pushed around my whole life. I take everything with a grain of salt to stay under the radar. This is different. It's not just about me, but about Kenzo too. With everything I know.. There is no way in hell I will stand by and let Haru continue to torture him.
