I thought that going out with Opal and her sister would finally give me the chance to explain why I had been so distant all week. Apparently, that was a mistake. It's no secret that Jezz had an interest in me. The girl couldn't be more obvious about it.
Unfortunately for Jezz, I only have eyes for one woman.
Only, Opal didn't seem to notice it all night. Jezz clung to me like we've been dating for years. Not like we just met earlier that day. Nothing I did was pushing her away.
When Jezz grabbed onto my arm, I pulled away. When she sat next to me, I tried to get Beck to switch me spots. I ignored Jezz most of the night while keeping my eyes on Opal. I was making it very clear that I wanted Opal. Jezz was not taking the hint
