CHAPTER 45

The next morning was the same. There was no Viktor on the other side of the bed and it pissed me off instantly. Although this morning, my sickness seemed to be even worse because I was leaning over the toilet bowl for more than half an hour.
Viktor came in to check on me at the right time but I didn’t notice his presence until he was holding my hair back while I puked everything.
“The doctor’s here to see you,” He announced after the sickness somewhat faded away. Although most of it still lingered, making me feel worse slowly. The doctor was waiting in the living room downstairs. Viktor half carried me and half helped me climb downstairs. After asking some questions and doing some checks, the doctor handed Viktor a prescription and left.
