She was able to adjust quickly this time. Her new co-workers were not as social and loud as her previous ones. They’re more serious about work. They still chatted from time to time, but very minimal. When they had work, they focused on finishing them before taking the time to chill. She liked it, but . . . it’s kind of boring. Quite routinary and unchallenging. Huh, well, she’s not one to look for a challenge. This was fine.
A few weeks later, she was considering what to do on her birthday. It fell on a work day, so she’s not sure if she could invite Lily and her boyfriend.
