Arriving back at Gizelle’s home, I’m covered in sweat and my pulse is hammering and it’s not because I walked and climbed over rocks and fallen trees. I didn’t need to, but I also wasn’t rushing back to tell Gavin that his sister is mated to his best friend and beta. I shouldn’t have agreed to do this, he is going to flip out, ask a trillion questions I don’t have answers to, or won’t give him even if I know. I just thought that this morning would only be the two of us, not that I am complaining, I’m just a little disappointed.
