CLEO'S POV -- "Gavin, come swim." Gizelle begs her brother to join us in the water. He's standing on a rock far away from the lake, smoking, "I'm busy," he waves the cigarette in front of his face before taking another drag. I sit in the shallow water, staring at him as his cheeks hallow, sharpening his jaw line even more as he takes a drag from it and I watch how his lips form as he blows out the cloud of smoke. "It's disgusting, right?" Gizelle snorts, dragging my attention to her and she's looking directly at me. I wonder how long she's been looking at me gawking at her brother. I shrug, "Felix smokes too," apparently. I didn't even know that until he accepted the cigarette Gavin offered at the gathering of alpha's and heat forms in the base of my spine, making me straighten my back,
