AIDEN'S POV

I was sure that my mate would come back to bed , but I fell asleep and when I woke up a minute ago, her side of the bed was untouched.
I prop myself up onto my elbow , staring at her side of the bed where she's suppose to be sleeping.
I really didn't do anything wrong, but she needs to trust me because she can't really lie, which means she'll ruin everything before Selena comes and puts a protection spell on us.
There's a tug at my mind link and I open up my thoughts to wherever wants to talk .
"Alpha, it's the team from the gates..we can't get in." they announce, making me frown as I sit up.
