Daisy's squeak as she entered the room made my head turn towards her almost reflectively, passing her a smile as I raised an eyebrow. "You saw him?"
"He's downstairs with the other boys," she replied, standing behind me to look at herself on the big oval mirror on the wall. "And the girls."
I nod.
She went on. "When Cole entered the common room of your farmhouse and randomly announced we were visiting my family house for a ball, I didn't think he actually meant it.
