The carnival that had been flooded with people not more than twelve hours ago was now empty, and the whole 'abandoned' look could very well be called a horror movie set.
It had this eerie vibe that none of them had noticed the previous day. And this time even when they did notice it, it was none of their concerns for they had their heads fixed somewhere else.
"So what now?" Seth asked, puffing some air from his mouth as they got out of the second car. "Should we rummage the entire place?"
"Isn't it too... empty?" Caleb asked in a small murmur, a rhetorical question.
"Makes it the perfect spot to hide someone.." I added, standing next to him quietly.
"I guess rummaging the place is the only option we have," Noah says, sighing as well. "So, let's get to work."
