We did end up reaching the beach in the end, but it definitely wasn't easy. Caleb resorted to the same measure I was thinking about to wake up Cole, i.e. 'sprinkle' some water on Daisy. Of course, she wasn't too happy waking up with water all over her face and hair, and she chased Caleb around the house with a cushion in her hand for about nearly ten minutes before I had to step in and hold her back. And even then, not so surprisingly, she was ready after brushing and freshening up and taking a shower much more Cole. He walked out of the room at his own pace, because, I quote, 'it isn't as easy to look this hot everyday, of course it takes time.'
