Rebecca’s pov
Being with August makes me happy. Even with his grumpiness and possessiveness, he still brings a smile to my face. His care comes out in the way he possessively holds me and can not let go. He doesn’t say what he feels, but let’s me feel it through the bond.
To be honest, feeling it from him and him showing his care in his own way is better than all the empty words and promises I have heard in the past. He is raw and emotional, and even he doesn’t know how to interpret and speak his feelings, so instead, he just feels without quantifying it.
I am embarrassed when such a big deal is made of our marks, so I am bright red as he makes me stay on his lap. It is like everyone is sitting there saying way to go, congratulations on fu.cking each other.
