As soon as we got to the hospital, I had barged inside and headed straight for Mike’s ward in the private section of the hospital, I was so focused on reaching him that I had forgotten that I still had the sword in my hand and wouldn’t be allowed into the hospital with a weapon, but then, probably because of how fiercely focused I was and the dead serious expression on my face, no one could face me to stop me, but then Kelsey came up to me quickly to calm me and collect the weapon from me, strangely, I started to feel very vulnerable without it, so much so that I actually started to become wary of my surroundings, anyone could be the enemy now and I had no weapon except the pearl to help me out now.
I got to Mike’s place and saw that as planned, it was just the lad
