The next day, we go to Laura's apartment. I hope that she will be home. Somehow last night I was in the bed. I vaguely remember Connor carrying me, and putting me in bed. He holds my hand on our way to Laura. I look out of the window as the trees pass by, Paul is driving us.
We stop in front of her apartment, I take a deep breath before we get out of the car. I walk behind Connor to the apartment door. He rings the door bell, and the door opens. Laura is looking between the two of us with a surprise expression on her face.
"What are you two doing here?" she asks.
"Can we come inside please?" Connor asks her. She opens the door further, gesturing with her hand for us to go inside. I follow Connor inside the apartment. Laura leaves the door open behind us.
