I still couldn't believe it and was beaming all over my face on the drive home.
"Are you happy?" Gideon asked.
"Yes, very happy. Today was wonderful. Did you like it too?"
"Yes, your family is great. It went really well today."
Gideon smiled at me and I beamed back.
"What are we going to do now?" I asked.
"We're going home and when we get there we won't leave the bedroom again." Gideon grumbled, which made me smile
"I know, but that's not what I meant. What do we do now? I have to start work again on Monday."
Gideon sighed and took my hand in his.
It was customary in the pack that when you found your mate, you had no commitments for a while, like a honeymoon. Since Gideon and I didn't live in the pack, we had no time off and had to go back to work next week.
