Wanda After we had landed, a car picked us up directly on the runway. The driver then drove us from the airport to the city center of Bangkok. The sun was just rising behind the skyscrapers and made the city look magical. I looked out of the window and soaked up the surroundings. I saw the curved Thai script everywhere without understanding any of it. As we drove through the streets and neighborhoods, the city slowly came to life. Stores opened and people came out of their houses to go to work. We finally stopped in front of a building that looked like an apartment complex or hotel.
