My dads were giving me the side eye after my date with Lucas last night. I didn’t see my mother at all. They said that she was out on official duties, which I guess I believed, but I was shocked to see that all three of them were here and they let her go without them.
Even if she does have guards and dragons protecting her.
They didn’t ask me directly about Lucas but I knew they could smell him on me and they saw us at the bottom of the stairs.
I just hope they didn’t scare him off. I do really like Lucas.
So, when he was waiting for me at the park this morning, I was really happy that he was waiting for me.
When we got to school Avery was waiting for us outside the building like she always did, but she was surprised to see that I was with Lucas again.
