I got up quickly which surprised Noah as I dashed for the door in my shirt and shorts. He started coming after me as I was running down the stairs trying to sing out to me but I wasn’t listening.
“Cole.” I mindlink as I throw open the two large wooden doors at the front of the castle.
“Yes, princess.” He answered.
“Where is he? Do you see him?”
“I’ve got eyes on him now. He’s just standing there. I don’t know what his plan is. He’s just watching us.”
“Alright. Make sure he doesn’t see all the warriors. Keep warriors at their posts on all sides of the border. He could be using himself as a distraction or he could be trying to see what sort of an army we have.” I said.
“I will, ma’am. Don’t worry. The second he makes a move, we’ll be right on him.” Cole assured me.
