We had been following Ava all day. She had a go at Jasper about Nova accepting the mate bond and looked really pissed and disappointed that Nova didn’t stick to their plan.
I guess Nova was right. We couldn’t trust Ava. She was definitely up to something.
But it was the person that she called on the phone that we were mostly interested in. We wanted to know who the hell he was before we said or did anything to Ava.
We followed her for the rest of the day but after she made that phone call, she went home and she had a fight with Izzy.
That didn’t surprise me. Izzy wanted Nova gone and Ava was doing everything she could to keep her here. She’s the one that brought her here, but it was for a mission.
