When I got back to the Alaska pack through teleportation I found myself outside of Lexie’s house. I could still smell Emma’s scent here.
She was only here recently as she left running from this house, crying.
So I walked around the house a couple of times to try and figure out what the hell was going on. But when I couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary, I walked up the front stairs and I opened the front door.
There was no one to be seen until Chloe came out of her bedroom and there was another strange scent in the house.
“Nova.” She said, shocked.
“Where are your parents?” I demanded.
“At work.”
