"Morgan, tell me the truth," Grace said, her gaze was still fixated on Veronica while the pack doctor was treating and wrapping the bandage on her wounds.
Grace waited for the pack doctor to be done and politely smiled at him. He left the room and Grace faced Morgan, clenching her hand into a fist.
"What was Veronica's relationship with Rafael?" she asked. Morgan looked at her in surprise. He was unable to give her the answer because, like her, he wasn't sure of what's the real score between the two.
"I knew something was up with them," she bitterly laughed. Grace kept observing the two and noticed something, but she couldn't say anything. She was afraid that her hunch might be right on point. "But I trust and love Rafael, that's why I will keep my mouth shut," she added with a sad smil
