The words of Loveless’ new songs had been imprinted in Sofia’s mind as she made her way into the position of attempted slumber. Her eyes remained focused on the ceiling above her head as she tried to understand what it could have been that caused him to be so distant from her. The guilt she felt for having seemingly abandoned him when he was upset along with the way she spoke to Matteo, made her lift herself from bed and to the kitchen, to try and get a glass of water to soothe her dry throat from talking to herself. But as she descended down the steps, her eyes came to a light already present-surprised to see Mark hanging in the fridge. He eventually pulled back and returned to his glass of clear alcohol that Sofia presumed to be Vodka, before turning, surprised to see her.
