Essence sat in the back of the limo while Emmanuel and Piper took the front seat with the driver. She wasn’t sure how the three of them fit up there, considering the massive size of Emmanuel’s frame yet they were giving the couple privacy. She sat nervously while the car pulled away from the curb. The silence was stifling as he sat with his elbows resting on his knees, his fingers interlaced under his chin as if deep in thought.
