Liam's POV Guilt ate at me as I carried Soraya all the way back to the pack. I instantly regretted my decision earlier, as the last thing I wanted was to be the cause of any unhappiness she might be feeling. I wanted to make conversation to dilute the tension and awkwardness in the air, but I was not sure what to say or even how to say it. She was clearly upset, and I couldn't help but beat myself up about it. We got to the pack house a few minutes later, and she insisted on walking to her room on her own despite her injured leg.
