As I arrived at the courtroom, I was greeted by the tight faces of the council members including the King.
I had a frown as well, the air around me turning colder as I walked passed each of them, noticing how they were afraid to meet my eyes.
"Second Prince Kieran, do you know why you have been summoned here today?" One of the council members asked from his seat the moment I reached the center.
This was not the first time I had been in front of them. Each time, it ended disastrously. Perhaps today would be different.
