Kieran's phone rang just then and he picked it up from the bed side table.
I saw it was Ava calling him.
Kieran's brows drew together as he answered it.
"Kieran..." her voice sounded like a tired terrified whisper "Help me.... help me please. He's going to kill me"
"What are you talking about, Ava? Who is going to kill you?" I found myself asking as my panic level rose.
"Is that you, Hazel?" She sounded surprised then she continued, knowing she didn't have time "Grayson is going to kill me. He's chasing me with his men. I don't know what to do"
"Where are you?" Kieran asked.
"I'm hiding in one of the guest rooms. Under the bed"
"Did anyone see you?"
