I felt a subtle relief when I heard his words because I believed him. And of course he wasn't treating her like that because he wanted to but because he had to.
Not like it was any better than being tortured.
"Why? I asked. "Because she has been contaminated?"
"Mmm..." He agreed "She was with Kieran all this while, I didn't expect anything less. The final cleansing will be done soon and then, she will be pure again"
