Malachi’s pov
It has been months since I started to train the men, I decided to work with a mixed group of wolves and Lycan’s. I also thought it best to use a single group so it it all goes to sh.it, I will have the other groups of rogues to use, and they shouldn’t have heard of the disaster.
Arai and I are confident it shouldn’t go wrong. Well, at least not for us anyway. My men are another story. I have done all that I can do, I used a low-level rogue wizard to train them to defend against magic, and it has been a slow process.
In the end I put a simple protection spell on them to guard against weak magic and said that they would need to retreat fast when back up arrived as they won’t be able to defend against the stronger magic. Full of false bravado, they were confident
