All of my senses became alert when my little dove appeared in front of me, as soon as we saw our warriors away to attack her and her parents, I reacted and ordered them to stand down. The last thing I want is for her or her parents to get harmed. That is not going to endear her to me in the slightest.
When Solaris came in and hugged my beloved it was if the sun shone on me for the first time in days, her happy relaxed face was a vision, and I wished that I could have been the one to have put that beautiful smile there.
