Chapter 40
Last night was everything I had dreamed and hoped for with the love of my life as I share a part of me that is only his. He was so loving and gentle with me, so he didn’t hurt me, and the feelings I got from him as we marked each other was overwhelming.
I had believed him when he said how much he loved me, but feeling it all coming from him was just so much more intense as he laid his mind bare to me. I made sure to push back just as much love and happiness from my end.
I am not sure that anyone would believe that the once cold and arrogant Prince was so kind gentle and caring. It felt special to know that I was one of a select few he would let see this side of him as he gently cared for me after to try and reduce the after effects of our mating.
