Getting both Lucian and Laia to give Blue some privacy with Narra had been nearly impossible. Laia didn't like Blue not telling her what had made Blue react that way, and Lucian didn't like leaving Blue alone with Narra in general.
Narra had sat still, unsure what was even happening.
When it appeared that Lucian was not budging, Blue gripped his forearm and leaned even closer to his space. "I want you to stay outside for a moment. I won't lock the door, you can peak through the damn windows for all I care. I just need a moment alone with Narra."
Cerulean blue eyes became stormy, the Head Alpha's expression becoming harsh. Blue half-expected Lucian to tell her off.
Instead, with too much hesitance and a grumble in his voice, Lucian muttered, "Ten minutes."
