“She has gone through a lot!”
Gabriel says as he pushes the file towards me. He's seated across from me in my office. He's in his usual baggy old-school jeans pants and an oversized t-shirt. His faded denim jacket is hanging loosely on his shoulders.
I open the file and it has the basics about her.
Daughter of Wade and Judith who died fourteen years ago when she was 10 years old.
She's currently 24 and she has been excellent in school, always scoring good marks. Never had many friends. After the grisly motor accident, she spend days in hospital nursing broken body parts. It's still a mystery how she survived the accident.
“It's said that the accident was suspicious but the police didn't follow up on it.”
Gabriel says. “Can I get a sandwich or something? I'm starting already!”
