I feel quite relieved after breaking the news to my sister, the news about Angela and I being engaged and about to get married.
Apart from Beryl, no one else in my family knew about it and I really feared Brenda's reaction. I am glad she's now a changed person and she looks at life at a different perspective.
She respected my choice of a spouse despite our parents' believes and I love her for that. At least, she's now looking at life on a different angle and I can testify that enrolling her in this rehabilitation centre is so far the best thing that has ever happened to her life.
If it were the old Brenda, she would have just ignored Angela and acted like she doesn't exist. I was even surprised that she hugged her and approved of our relationship!
