Chapter fifty-two: Kailee's POV

2002 Words

Kaid was pissed at us. He had been waiting for over an hour; of course, it wasn’t only Alexander’s fault. I was the biggest culprit. Every time we finished, I asked for more; again, a warrior had to come several times, and in the end, Kaid came himself to take us out. I showed the map to everyone. They were now analyzing how to get in and where Amanda could be. My first thought was that she was in my house, but something in my gut told me that was not the case. She managed to pass as an omega because she loves to disguise herself. It is a great plan. No one would think she might stay in an ordinary house. She is supposed to be the winner; as everyone would think, she should be gloating. Amanda knows this, and she uses it to her advantage, meaning that she will do the exact opposite.
