"What are you doing here, father?" I looked at him straight in the eye. He couldn’t harm me; he wasn’t here, not truly. “You are not afraid.” He stated. I was terrified, but I would not show him my true emotions or give him the satisfaction of knowing he could scare me. “Not anymore, Father,” I squared my shoulders and gave him a defiant look. “Interesting, being mated to that wolf has changed you,” Winter got pissed when she heard who my father was referring to. He was talking about Alexander, and if he knew about our bond, then it meant that he could be the one who took him. “Where is he?” I growled at him. Winter was furious, and she was trying to force us to turn. “Even if you threaten me, dear daughter, you know you can’t do anything to me; I am not there, am I?” he said.
