I knocked impatiently on the door, waiting for Spikes to answer. When he didn't open after the third knock, I brought out my phone and right before it rang, the door swung open.
"Baby!" He exclaimed, a slight excitement on his face. Clearly, he was excited to see me. I smiled back amd stretched my hand to hug him.
He received my hug and pulled me inside his new apartment. He had left the hotel to get things prepared for his wedding, our wedding. He had called me to come by today because he had something really important to discuss.
