In an instant, Kevin reached out and pulled Rose back as he shielded her. Just then, Rose accidentally stepped into the gap between the tiles and a loud crack came from her feet.
Even though both of them had reacted quickly, the hot water had still gotten onto Kevin's arms and wrists. He was burnt and his skin instantly reddened. On the other hand, even though Rose had avoided it, some of the droplets had splashed onto her arms and it was painful. Her face paled from fright.
"What's wrong with you? Who is this? How could anyone just enter this party?"
