It was already past nine-thirty. Rose did not rush to the company but took an aimless walk on the streets instead.
For the first time, she did not even have the energy to make money. She had to receive clients and she did not think she could do well with her current condition.
She had no idea what to do. Coincidentally, Mrs. Reed called her, therefore she drove home.
The whole day, she helped her mother but she was muddled and disorientated. They wrapped things up at noon and Mrs. Reed went to the market to get some fresh prawns for dinner.
