Both Triana and Alma were recuperating in different wards. Blaze sat beside Triana, his eyes full of concern. He kept staring at her with guilt in his heart. He regretted not having stopped her from using her power to cure Alma, who did not deserve to remain alive.
"I shouldn’t have let you use your power," he murmured, taking her hands in his. "Alma doesn’t deserve your care. She does not deserve someone to take care of her after what she has done. She is a vile woman. I shouldn’t have bothered about her life or death. You are the world to me. I can’t lose you. Please wake up." He kissed her on the palm.
