I arrived in my office earlier than I usually time in. It was so early. The time said, 7:02 in the morning. I usually came in when it was already almost eight.
When I woke up, I headed straight to the shower, did my morning routine, and got changed into my usual work clothes which were a blouse and a pencil skirt.
I didn't even bother to have my breakfast. I felt so lazy. I felt so tired, so stressed up. Caleb didn't call me. He was probably busy with his business dealings there. I always prayed for him, hoping he was doing alright and safe.
Last night, one time when I called him, it was rejected. It wasn't missed. It was completed rejected. That was when I became so worried. Was he really busy that he couldn't get to spare a minute to talk to me?
